THE SCRIPTURES – We believe the Bible to be the inspired infallible
word of God, and is relevant and applicable to us today.

We place great emphasis upon teaching it in public, studying it in public and private and using it as a guide for our daily lives. 2Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21.

THE GODHEAD – We believe in the One Everlasting Eternal God, Infinite in Power. Holy in Nature, attributes, and Purpose; in His absolute, indivisible deity.

That this One True God has revealed Himself as Father in Creation; through His Son in Redemption and as the Holy Spirit, by Emanation. 1Cor 8:6, Eph.4:6; 2 Cor. 5:19, and Joel 2:28.


We believe God is worthy of all praise, worship, reverence and love. We take special time to worship Him in song, dance and prayers. We also clap our hands and use musical instruments to worship HIM.

It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives as well. John 4: 22-25

We worship Him in spirit and truth.

In our worship, we sing with all our hearts Ps. 98:4

We lift our hands in praise Ps. 134: 2

We pray together Acts. 4: 24

We play musical instruments. 2 Sam. 6:5

We clap and shout unto God Ps. 47: 1

We dance before the Lord Ps. 150: 4

We testify publicly Ps. 22: 2

We annoint with oil for Divine Healing. James 5: 14

We allow the operation of the spiritual gifts 1 Cor. 14: 26

THE SON OF GOD – We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. In the fullness of time God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law. Gal. 4: 4-5. In Him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9. That God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. 2 Cor. 5:19. That no man can come unto the Father but by and through the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood. That the Son of God is the only hope of the world. The man Christ Jesus is mediator between God and man. 1 Tim. 2:5.

THE FALL OF MAN – We believe that in the beginning God created man innocent, pure and holy, but through the sin of disobedience, Adam fell; hence by one man’s disobedience, sin entered into the world. Gen. 1:27; Rom.5: 12.

THE NAME – We hallow the Name of God. God used different titles such as “God Elohim” “ God Almighty”, “El Shaddai” “Jehovah” and especially “Jehovah Lord” the redemptive name in the old Testament. “Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given ….. and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Price of Peace”

DIVINE HEALING – We believe that Healing is divinely provided for all in the atonement.That God is still the Healer of His people, and that the Church should recognise and practice this ministry as directed by the Lord Himself and practice by His Apostles. Ps. 103: 3; Isa. 53: 4-5; Matt. 8: 17; James 5: 4-16; 1 Pet. 2:24; Mark 16: 18; Ex. 15: 26; Heb. 13: 8.

The first covenant that the Lord (Jehovah) made with the children of Israel after they were brought out of Egypt was a covenant of healing. The Lord said “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord (Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord that healeth) thy God and wilt do that which is right in His sight and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

The vicarious suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ paid not only for the salvation of our souls but also for the healing of our bodies. “With His stripes we are healed”. Jesus said of believers, “They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”

7. REPENTANCE – We believe in repentance to God, confessing ourselves as sinners, receiving forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood which made atonement for sin, witnessed by a definite change from sin to righteousness. Acts. 17:30; 11: 18; 2: 38-39. The word ‘repentence’ means a change of views and purpose, change of heart, change of mind, change of life, transformation etc.

8. OUR REDEMPTION – We believe that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made sin for us, dying in our form and stead rising again from the dead, ascending with His glorified body to the right hand of God, and by believing in the finished work, we are justified before God. Cleansed of all our sins and redeemed from the curse of the law. John 3:3; Rom. 5:1; Acts 13:19; 2 Cor. 5:14-21; Gal. 2: 16; 3: 13; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Tit. 2:14; Rev. 16: 15-16.

9. WATER BAPTISM – We believe that water baptism (immersion) is for all believers and should be administered in the Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST according to Acts. 2: 38; 10:48; 19:5, fullfilling St. Matt. 28:19 and St. Mark 16: 15-16.

10. THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the enduement of power for Christian Service. That the baptism is for all believers who seek and ask for the same. That the baptism is a distinct, separate, and subsequent experience to conversion. Matt. 3:11; Luke 24: 49, 53; Acts 1: 4-8; Luke 11:13.

11. SPEAKING IN TONGUES – We believe in speaking in Tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. Act. 2: 4; Mark 16:17; Acts 10: 44-46; 19:6.

12. THE LORD’S SUPPER (communion) – We believe that all followers of Christ should partake of the Communion or Lord’s Supper, in remembrance of His death until He comes again. Luke 22: 17-20; 1 Cor. 11: 23-24.

13. WASHING OF THE SAINTS FEET – We believe in and practise feet washing as the Lord taught us, showing our love towards each other. Love in deed and not in tongue. St. John 13: 2-17; 1 Tim. 5: 9-10.

14. TITHING AND OFFERING – We believe tithing is God’s financial plan to provide for His work, and has been since Abraham. Tithing came with faith under Abraham; Moses’ law enjoined it, and Israel practised it when she was right with God; Jesus endorsed it. Matt. 23: 23; and Paul said to lay by in store as God has prospered you. Gen. 14: 18-20; 28: 20-22; Mal 3: 6-12; Luke 11: 42; 1 Cor. 9: 6-9; 16: 2; Heb. 7: 1-21.

15. THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT – We believe that the nine (9) gifts of the Spirit should be manifested in the Church today, and that all Spirit-filled believers should have some manifestation of one or more of these gifts for the edification and upbuilding of the Church. 1 Cor. 12: 7-11; 14:1.

16. THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – We believe that the Spirit filled believers will produce the nine fruits of the Spirit in their lives , and that this is the only true evidence of a Spirit-filled life. Gal. 5: 22-23; 1 Jn. 2:6; 1 Pet. 1: 16; Tit. 2: 11-13; 2 Cor. 7:11.

17. RESTITUTION – We believe that when one is converted he should make right that which is wrong. If anything was taken or anyone was hurt by you, you should make restitution where possible. Matt. 3: 8; Luke 19: 8-9.

18. STRONG DRINK AND LIQUOR – We believe that all should fully abstain from all liquor and strong drink. Prov. 20:1; 20: 29-32; Isa. 28:7; 1 Cor. 5:11; 6: 10; Gal 5: 21.

19. USE OF TOBACCO – We are against the use of tobacco in any form, Opium, Crack Cocaine, Morphine, or any such drugs. Isa. 55: 2; 1 Cor. 10: 31-32; 2 Cor. 7:1; Eph. 5: 3-8, James 1:21

20. SOCIETIES OF BONDS AND SECRETS – We are against any member of the Church to become part of any Lodge or any Secret Society.

21. MEMBERS SWEARING – We are against members swearing at any time or place. Matt. 5:34; James 5:12.

22. RESURRECTION AND VIRGIN BIRTH – We believe in the resrrection and the virgin birth of our Jesus Christ. John 5: 28-29; Acts 24: 15; Rev. 20: 5-6.

23. ETERNAL LIFE FOR THE RIGHTEOUNESS OF MEN – We believe in eternal life Matt. 25:46; Luke 18: 30; John 10: 28; Rom. 6:22; 1 Jn. 5:11-13.

ETERNAL PUNISHMENT FOR THE WICKED – We believe that there is no Liberation nor annihilation for the wicked. Matt. 25: 41-46; Mark 3: 29; 2 Thess. 1:8-9; Rev. 20: 10-15; 21: 8.

24. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST – We believe that Jesus is coming again in person just as He went away. This was clearly set forth by the Lord Jesus Himself and was preached and taught in the early Church by the Apostles. Hence the children of God today are looking forward to the glorious event. Act. 1: 11; 1 Thess. 4: 16-17; 1 Cor. 15: 51-52.

We believe there shall be a great tribulation which shall be followed by a better day on earth, and that for a thousand (1000) years there shall be peace on earth good will towards men. Isa. 65:17-25; Dan. 7:27; heb. 2:14; Rom. 11: 25-27; Rev. 20: 1-5.

25. REWARDS – We believe the Bible clearly teaches a distinct judgement for the believers only, spoken of in the scriptures as the “judgement seat of Christ” where believers works shall be judged and rewards given. 2 Cor. 5:10; 1 Cor. 3: 11-15; Rev. 20: 4-6.

27. THE FINAL JUDGEMENT – We believe that there will be a great and final judgement as recorded in the Word of God. Heb. 9: 27; Rev. 20: 1-15. This judgement is the judgement of the unjust, and where all those that does wickedly are judged according to their wrongful deeds on this earth. “ … all those names that are not found written in the Book of Life shall be case into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, which God has prepared for the devil and his angels. Satan himself being cast in first. Matt. 25: 41; rev. 20: 7-15; 21: 8.

28. CIVIC INSTRUCTION – We believe that Government is given by God. We pray for all local, national and international leaders and governments for godly wisdom. We ask our members to honour the National Anthem and to respect and obey civil law as long as they do not contradict the scriptures. 2 Tim. 2: 1-14.

29. ASCENSION OF JESUS – We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to Heaven. His exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the Church (John 14:21-23, 1Thess. 4:13-18)

30. CHURCH GOVERNMENT – We believe that the biblical form of Church government is theocratic consisting of a senior minister who qualifies on the basis of the call of God. 1Tim.3.

31. THE NAME OF JESUS – We believe that there is no other name than the name of Jesus by which men must be saved.

32. HOLINESS – We believe that believers in Christ are made holy before God and called to be holy in the outward expression of their Christian lives. To this end the Holy Spirit produces fruit in their lives and transforms them in Christ likeness with ever increasing glory.

33. FAITH – We believe that it is only possible to please God through a life of faith. Heb. 11:6.

34. DEVIL – We believe that devil exists. It is an enemy of Christians and is eternally defeated through the saving work of Christ.

In Christ believers are given authority over all the works of the devil. Mark 16.

35. GLORY – We believe that Jesus Christ has given believers His glory and that this glory is to be reflected in their lives. They are to live in joyful expectation of living eternally in God’s heavenly glory. John 17.

36. THE KINGDOM – We believe that the life of the kingdom of God is present in and among believers and will be fully consummated when Jesus Christ returns.

37. THE CHURCH – We believe the universal Church is the body of which Christ is the head and to which all who are saved belong. The unity of the body of Christ is expressed within and between Churches by mutual love, care and encouragement.
